The Baking Assistant will work closely with the Bakery Manager and Bakery Supervisor to prepare delicious cakes, cookies, muffins, and other baked goods to our customers.
The position requires a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to lift 50 pounds required.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Must be able to follow recipes and techniques when preparing donuts, cookies, muffins, etc.
Must be able to follow instructions regarding use of kitchen equipment such as mixers, blenders, grills etc.
To ensure you are successful in the desired role, a paid, mandatory 30 day training period will take place following hiring in our location Monday to Friday Sunday availability a must Baking experience required and you must be open to learning new skills and also following standardized recipes, basic pastry portioning and decor, mixing, and cleaning.
During training position requires 12-18 hours a week, with the possibility of full time hours dependent upon training and proficiency.
Training is usually over the course of 1-2 months before working independently.
Flexibility to work mornings with possibility of some weekends (No Saturdays), and ability to work more hours during holidays.

Always maintain a clean, orderly, and safe bakery environment, exceeding regulatory and company requirements at all times.
